Multi Factor Authentication

  • Starting early in 2024, Salesforce is enforcing Multi Factor Authentication for all users in order to bolster the security of the platform.

    • One of the major causes of security breaches is the ability to login with a username and password alone.

  • This enforcement will mean all users will need to use an additional authentication method to be able to login to their account.

  • The method used here may vary for your school - please contact your IT department for further details

    • For example, your IT department may have already enabled an authentication method for other IT services such as Microsoft, which could also be used to authenticate the login to Salesforce.
