Finance 'Organisations'

It is possible to enable ‘Organisation’ which offers a financial ‘hierarchy’ that sits above ‘School’.

i.e. Organisation becomes a parent of School, and can be used to financial segregate all financial transactions.

Typically, Organisation would be used when multiple, financial entities exist, and you wish to create a wall between them.

Each Organisation can:

  • Operate independently of each other

  • Operate with its own nominal accounts

  • Invoice, Credit, Receipt and Payment numbering

    • A ‘prefix’ can be added to each ‘REF’ to easily identify

 

 

To enable:

  • Schoolworks Custom Settings

    • Enable Organisation must be ticked

  • Finance Nominals

    • Nominal codes assigned to Organisation

  • Organisation

    • Organisation record(s) setup

      • With appropriate prefix and numbering
